Craft Swap – Sayaka Miki (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)

This is our third craft swap/trade!!!

We were very lucky to have this swap/trade with “LordBoop” on DA, she is an amazing plush-maker.  When she asked us for a commission or a trade, we knew right away that we wanted a trade.  With her amazing skills we knew she could bring to life one of our favorite characters from Monster Rancher  “Tiger of the Wind”

Now, our part of the trade was a “Super Chibi Sayaka Miki” from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. When she requested the super chibi plush I was concerned due to the complex design of Miki.  Although the plush is 11 inches tall [which is  not too small]  the biggest challenge is the body proportions. It has short and chubby legs and arms, not much room to add too many details.  Making each piece of the outfit to look proportionate without making the plush look crowded and sloppy was quite the challenge. I hope it looks nice after all.

We are very happy with this trade and we hope that she like this plush.

The original pattern for this plush belongs to “BabyLondonStar”  and this is an altered version of her pattern.

About foolishlife

Words cannot describe what we are. We are a little bit complicated to explain. All we can say about ourselves is that we live a foolish life. EkkE-Mekka, we are sister and Ed is our little nephew. The three of us are always finding new ways to pass the time. We cosplay, write, sew, draw, do crafts, chase the ice cream man and a whole lot of other things. So, we hope you enjoy reading about our silly adventures.
