Hetalia Revolutionary England Costume

I still can’t believe that I made it . . .

This was a rushed commission and it was due last Friday.  I had only 4 days to make it and something like this take me like a month to finish it.   Usually I do not like to work in a rush because I cannot afford to make a mistake [one mistake is too many] BUT I accepted because it was Hetalia England’s outfit,  let’s be honest,  it is not everyday that you have the opportunity to make a life-size costume like this and you’ll be paid to make it.  Also it was a request from a boy…who can say NO to children?

All the materials were given to me but only one small reference picture. Well, with so little time to make the costume I couldn’t waste time searching for more pictures, so, I did what I could.

The coat was for a boy which is the reason why it looks small/short on my dress form [it barely fit].

I’m quite happy with my accomplisment… I wasn’t too sure I could  make it since I’ve done only doll clothes and this was a real /life size coat.

It might not be perfect or accurate but it is my first cosplay outfit/costume and that makes me very happy.

About foolishlife

Words cannot describe what we are. We are a little bit complicated to explain. All we can say about ourselves is that we live a foolish life. EkkE-Mekka, we are sister and Ed is our little nephew. The three of us are always finding new ways to pass the time. We cosplay, write, sew, draw, do crafts, chase the ice cream man and a whole lot of other things. So, we hope you enjoy reading about our silly adventures.
