I don’t think I have words to describe the wonderful time I had last night.
It was the most amazing concert I have ever seen in my life. André Rieu is a charismatic man, talented violinist and orchestra conductor, and a great entertainer [he has a great sense of humor]. And his orchestra the Johann Strauss Orchestra has the most talented and happier men and women I’ve ever seen. The face of everyone in the orchestra glow with joy, you can feel how much they loved what they do.
Every single minute of the concert was filled with wonderful music, funny moments, laughs and joy. It was the first time I saw so many people singing, dancing and laughing together, without a care in the world. It sounds like I’m exaggerating but to me it was just like that.
The first time I saw André Rieu was on PBS, yup, public television. I enjoyed the program/concert so much that every time it was on TV I watched it, even if it was the same one. I never thought that one day I was going to be in one of his concerts, that was just something I didn’t think I could experience but I was proved wrong. Thanks to my sister who learned about his concert here at the Nokia Theater in L.A. we were able to get tickets, well, my sister acted fast and she got the tickets, in fact, she gave me the ticket as a gift.
The concert was far greater than I was expecting. I knew it was going to be an amazing concert but seeing it live was much more than amazing, I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. I got out of that place feeling so much joy.
Music is fuel for the soul and André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra gave us all that fuel with their great performance.
