This is the bunny costume I made for my overgrown nephew, for some reason he changed his mind twice and later decided that he wanted to be the Easter Bunny.  We took this picture while he was dressing up, so, he is not wearing the vest.

And that is the bunny head that made me grow white hair during these past four days.  4 days before Halloween he decided that he wanted a head instead of only the ears.

The mouth was supposed to be wide open but my nephew didn’t want his face to be seen, luckily, the mouth has a wire frame so he was able to close the mouth a bit.

The outside of the head was made out of fleece and felt for the details. The inside was made of muslin and firm iron-on backing. It also has a wire frame to make the ears and head to hold in place.

I was going to stuff the cheeks a little bit but I didn’t have enough time to do it. That is why it looks a bit wrinkly.

It is not 100% as I was expecting but I’m quite pleased with the result.

About foolishlife

Words cannot describe what we are. We are a little bit complicated to explain. All we can say about ourselves is that we live a foolish life. EkkE-Mekka, we are sister and Ed is our little nephew. The three of us are always finding new ways to pass the time. We cosplay, write, sew, draw, do crafts, chase the ice cream man and a whole lot of other things. So, we hope you enjoy reading about our silly adventures.
